Verify official links

Seven checks before you click, connect or sign

  1. Start from a bookmark, never from a search ad, reply or DM. Phishing sites buy ads for brand names.
  2. Read the domain right to left. In avax.network.claim-now.xyz the real domain is claim-now.xyz.
  3. Look for swapped characters: 0/o, 1/l/I, rn/m, Cyrillic а/е/о. If the browser shows xn--, it's an IDN lookalike.
  4. Cross-check two sources: the official website and the verified X bio should link to each other.
  5. Nobody needs your seed phrase. Not support, not admins, not a “validator sync” page. Ever.
  6. Read what you sign. Logging in is one message. approve, setApprovalForAll or permit grant access to your tokens.
  7. Check the first and last 4 characters of every address after pasting. Address-poisoning and clipboard malware swap the middle.
